Hi. I'm sure most of you are aware of GivingMultiplier.org. I was looking at it recently & I really like the idea, but I had a hard time understanding one component of their methodology. 

They present a few options for "super-effective charities." GHD, Animal Welfare, and GCR were the 3 cause areas. 

My understanding is that GHD + Animal Welfare interventions are highly effective & rigorously tested. But I have a hard time believing that GCR donations should be marketed as "highly effective." That seems like a stretch for me. It may be a good cause area, but it is obviously a highly uncertain bet. 

Does anybody agree/disagree with me? Interested to hear people's opinions.
