Thanks! That's an interesting direction. I hadn't thought about looking at it through a marginal cost-benefit lens; I think the answer would probably vary quite a bit by sector, so that could be a useful next step.

There’s something reassuring about how normal these answers are: people with hobbies, relationships, and regular lives. It makes me think impact is easier to sustain when there’s real joy and a life outside work holding it up.
